DINING BY DESIGN

I had the extreme pleasure participating in Dining by Design, 2007. I designed a dining space for this most wonderful of causes. The space is going to be published in Elle Decor Magazine. Here is some information on the event, its sponsors and the charities it benefits.

Dining By Design, 2007
2007 marks the 10th anniversary of DINING BY DESIGN, the annual signature fundraising event and multi-city marketing platform created by DIFFA. Presented by ELLE DECOR and GE MONOGRAM, DINING BY DESIGN celebrates the best of "design" by bringing together talented interior designers, established and budding architects, design showrooms, corporations, photographers, technology developers, product designers, landscape designers, filmakers, fashion designers, graphic designers, multi-media artists and others to create over the top, three dimensional dining environments. The event has been dubbed the "Cannes of Tabletop" by filmmaker John Waters.

DIFFA
Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids is one of the country's largest supporters of direct care of people living with HIV / AIDS and preventative education for those at risk. Merging care and commerce, supporters of DIFFA come from all fields of fine design and the visual arts, including: architecture, fashion design, interior design, photography, and consumer product design.

CRI
Community Research Initiative, (CRI) is an independent, nonprofit community-based organization
